Is BJP aware of the derailing of the Indian nation building process?

The developments in Arunachal Pradesh. suggest that the BJP just followed the Congress style of exploiting the weakness of the  leaders of the regional parties to ‘strengthen’ (?) the  BJP’s presence in those regions.

All national parties seem to ignore the fact that, had 1857 India’s war of independence succeeded; India would be now under the rule of more than 50 kings.

The Indian nation building process, after the independence in 1947, was subordinated to the selfish interests of the ruling parties at the center, helping the regional chauvinistic parties to grow.

No wonder the state wings of the national parties like Congress, BJP, & communist parties, often in the opposite sides, in the inter-state water disputes like Cauvery, Mullai Periyar, etc, are just  following the regional chauvinistic interests, instead of the national interests. Can these all India parties, with their state wings from the ‘rival’ states opposing each other in the inter-state disputes, claim themselves to be the ‘national’ parties, in the true sense?

Worse, the ruling parties at the center, indulged in ‘bribing, or cajoling, or threatening’ the regional party leaders, to serve the interests of the ruling party at the center. Even anti-corruption measures were used as a tool; as proved by the Sarkaria Commission against then TN CM M.Karunanidhi & subsequent withdrawal of the case, by then PM Indira Gandhi.

Unfortunately BJP, by following the Congress style, is yet to focus on rescuing the derailed nation building process, the only option to prevent the future disintegration of the country.

Also the role of corruption, exploiting both the real and distorted grievances, in the growth of regionalism, separatism and terrorism, interlinked by the foreign funded NGO activism, challenging the nation building process, deserves the urgent probe, followed by the viable, pro-human, remedial measures

In the above context, I like to share that I could discover the above complex mechanism, subjecting my previous association with the anti-Brahmin Tamilnadu separatist ideology of ‘Periyar’ EVR, the founder of the Dravidian movement in Tamilnadu;

to the analysis in the light of my subsequent inter-disciplinary research findings, involving Physics, Music, ancient Tamil & Sanskrit texts, & Sociology

Did any ‘secular’ scholar like Romila Thapar, Arundhati Roy, etc bother to explore the above complex mechanism, even in their discussions ‘On Nationalism’ (mostly euro-centric imported version)? Can the role of the foreign funded NGOs, in derailing the nation building process, be ignored in such discussions? ('What is wrong with importing Euro-centric nationalism to India? A criticism on Romila Thapar’s ‘ON NATIONALISM’; http://tamilsdirection.blogspot.in/2016/07/what-is-wrong-withimporting-euro.html )

The following news is just an example to understand the social mechanism, linking corruption with extremism;
‘MN is known for his pro-Tamil chants and secret funding to pro-Tamil groups in the state.   During the agitations in 2008 and 2009 against the Srilankan army - LTTE war, MN was found hobnobbing with pro Eelam groups so much so that he even participated in hall meetings and public rallies organised by the Pro-Tamil groups.’ ; http://whispersintamilnadu.blogspot.in/2011/12/sasikalas-ouster-m-natarajans-game-plan.html . No wonder, if a probe revealed the active participation of many in the above groups, joining in, ‘all the evils flew out’, on the opening of the above mentioned ‘Pandora’s box’, following Rohith Vemula’s suicide.

Probably M.Natarajan, unaware of the elastic limit of exploiting the ‘pro-Tamil’ sentiments, to ‘camouflage’ the ‘unbelievable’ corrupt activities of the Sasikala Natarajan families, had crossed the limit, to ‘emerge’ openly as ‘Tamil Patron Leader’, by ‘inaugurating’ a monument for LTTE called ‘Mulli Vaikkal Mutram’, and was caught by the late TN CM Jayalalitha for conspiring against her, and was imprisoned. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Thn5XgYFOvM ).

While the founder of the Dravidian Movement ‘Periyar’ E.V.R, after 1967, expressed his wish to quit public life and become a ‘ monk’ to then TN CM C.N.Annadurai , C.N.A also expressed his desire to the Communist leader P.Ramamoorthy, to die soon due to his inability to control his party-men indulging in corruption. Both of them died later. Instead of taking it as a lead to expose & isolate DMK, pro-Hindutva groups indulged in defaming both ‘Periyar’ EVR & C.N.Annadurai, only to get isolated politically, while pro-Hindutva was socially growing strong  in TN.

Unaware of the depoliticizing process in Tamilnadu, during the rule of the Dravidian parties, and consequent decaying of their ‘pro-Tamil’ ideological strength, TN BJP just travelled as a ‘tail’ to those parties, even to the extent of attending the above mentioned inauguration, and Subramania Swamy openly supported the  ‘imprisoned Sasikala’s Benami rule’ in TN. In my observation, TN is now ripe for the emerging of the non-dynastic ‘Shiva sena style’ ‘pro-Tamil’ political party, acknowledging the sacrifices of ‘Periyar’ EVR  & C.N.Annadurai;

blaming the Nehru dynasty for their separation from the mainstream India;

and blaming the colonial conspiracy for their so called ‘anti-Brahmin’ track records;

as even their political enemies had not accused them of amazing wealth thru their contribution in the public domain. Godse’s assassination of Gandhi, which I disapproved, did not prevent me to acknowledge his patriotism and sacrifices.

In my view, during the last two years, Modi Govt’s performance in employing the soft power to weaken the separatist forces was disappointing. The soft power is a double edged weapon w.r.t unifying, as well as, disintegrating a country like India. The above complex mechanism exploiting the corruption among the politicians and officials ( in regionalism/separatism/terrorism infected states from Kashmir to Tamilnadu, especially after the rise of the late PM Indira Gandhi), by encouraging emotions to dominate over reason, weaken the soft power for ‘unifying the country’, while strengthening the soft power for disintegrating the country. Unless the invisible bond (aided by the above complex mechanism with  most of the foreign funded NGOs as the catalysts) between the soft power (probably exhibited in JNU, exploiting the bungling of the then HRM)  and the hard power ( probably, with the invisible bond in JNU-  now witnessed in Kashmir)  of the disintegrating forces (militants & terrorists,), are exposed and weakened, they may very well succeed in disintegrating India in not a very distant future; with the timing under the control of the dynamics of the world vested interests; with the weakening of all the ‘national’ parties except BJP & the corresponding strengthening of the regional parties. 'Nation Building' alone can ensure the internal strength for the stability of the country; instead of surviving at the mercy of the 'collective world vested interests', weakening the 'nation building process'.

Hence the above mentioned probe into the complex mechanism is urgent to strengthen the soft power for unifying the country; thereby minimising the role of hard power ( army/police) for strengthening the unity of the country. Also unless the anti-corruption measures succeed in Tamilnadu, separatist and regional chauvinist forces will continue to thrive, strengthening the corrupt regional party leaders to loot Tamilnadu more, while  all the national parties including BJP will remain as the weak spectators/jokers; while TN natural wealth being looted, Tamil language medium dying even in villages, & most of the Tamils, including vice-chancellors and professors,  falling at the feet of the political leaders & losing their self-esteem to earn money, driving TN to become an intellectual and cultural desert.

As the first step, I suggest to adopt ‘soft approach’ towards non-violent expression of the secessionist tendencies; encouraging open minded dialogue highlighting the benefits of the unity, and the dangers awaiting separation, especially in the context of the narrow minded selfish interests of the world dominating powers in the name of globalization, contaminating the sovereignty of the countries under their influence;(“Globalisation thus implies that sovereignty is not only becoming weaker in reality, but that it needs to become weaker……. Sovereignty is no longer a sanctuary.; http://www.cfr.org/sovereignty/sovereignty-globalisation/p9903 );

and 'CORRUPTING' the so called  'national liberation armed movements', silencing open minded criticisms, and encouraging reason free 'emotion' to ensure their survival or 'DEMISE' & prevent the open minded debate even to identify the reasons for the demise; to serve the world vested interests.

as revealed in East Timor (East Timor achieved full independence on May 20, 2002, becoming the first new country of the 21st century.- a dispute within the new country's military in May 2006 led to violent clashes between the army and disaffected soldiers. The violence soon spread throughout the country, igniting latent hostilities between the various ethnic communities in East Timor. Following the government's appeal for international assistance, Australia, Malaysia, Portugal and New Zealand sent troops to attempt to restore order.; https://www.globalpolicy.org/security-council/index-of-countries-on-the-security-council-agenda/east-timor.html);

South Sudan (South Sudan has suffered internal conflict since its independence; as of 2016 it has the second highest score on the Fragile States Index (formerly the Failed States Index); https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Sudan );

 etc, recently separated nations;

and  the 'Elam liberation armed groups including LTTE'.

Also how Singapore, the only country that was forced unwillingly to 'gain independence' in world history, could get rid of the 'unbelievable' corruption, and 'transform' to become a corruption free, developed country? Also how Singapore consciously strengthen the 'nation building process'? (http://www.straitstimes.com/politics/singapolitics/changes-to-ep-needed-as-race-still-matters-in-politics-pm-lee )

The differences in the annexation of Tibet by China (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incorporation_of_Tibet_into_the_People%27s_Republic_of_China#Aftermath) and Sikkim by India (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sikkimese_monarchy_referendum,_1975) as well as  the present differences between the 'pathetic' conditions in Tibet (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tibetan_independence_movement) and the unbelievably 'good' conditions in Sikkim (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sikkim);  need to be included in the above suggested dialogue. Also what ‘influences’ prevented Kashmir, to become another ‘Sikkim’ must also be included in the dialogue.

Also inter-state dialogue involving the scholars, reputed writers, teachers, etc, from the ‘rival’ states, focusing on resolving the inter-state disputes, and the nation building process, shall be encouraged by the Modi govt (probably the first 100% non-corrupt govt, after the independence).

Whenever army/police is deployed in civilian areas, transparency and accountability with sensitive approach towards the local custom and practices shall be strictly enforced without any room for corruption.

at the cost of the Indian unity?'
