Will T.M.Krishna, Raj Mohan Gandhi, Thol Thirumalavan admit their ignorance of the ‘paRiah’ research findings,

and initiate the efforts to rescue ‘paRiah’ from the misuse ?

‘After Kalakshetra cancels, large crowd turns up for TM Krishna book launch in Chennai’; https://www.thenewsminute.com/article/after-kalakshetra-cancels-large-crowd-turns-tm-krishna-book-launch-chennai-117369

The following documentary covered the above book launch.

“The top layer (in society) needs the bottom layer. In the relationship, there is mutual need for each other. There is also ignorance and contempt at one side and silent indignation on the other side. Krishna has captured the relationship,” – Raj Mohan Gandhi, while releasing the book.

“This entire controversy shows that Manu dharma still exists in our society, / It got me thinking, if this was the situation of the mridangam makers, then imagine those who make the parai" - Thol Thirumalavan.

I doubt if Thol Thirumalavan, like ‘Periyar’ E.V.R, was aware of the following truth with respect to Manu dharma.

“The reader must always bear in mind that in the texts on statecraft and Sacred Law the authors describe things not as they were in fact, but as they believed they ought to be................ Similarly the vicious punishments laid down by Manu for religious crimes (for example a sudra who " arrogantly teaches brahmans their duty" shall have boiling oil poured in his mouth and ears" Page 81, ‘The Wonder That Was India’ by A.L.Basham.

Applying ‘Physics of Music’ to the ancient Tamil texts, I discovered that the ‘untouchability’ of the percussion ‘paRai’, and ‘paRaiyar’ may be a post-colonial development. (Dt. November 13, 2013; http://tamilsdirection.blogspot.com/2013/11/normal-0-false-false-false-en-us-x-none_13.html

Contrary to E.V.R’s understanding of the ancient Tamils, Tamils, in cankam age, lived with the right connection to nature and society, as all the references to ‘paRai’ had revealed. Also, the sources of music were from nature, as I had revealed with the evidences in my book 'ANCIENT MUSIC TREASURES - EXPLORING FOR NEW MUSIC COMPOSING' (https://www.amazon.com/ANCIENT-MUSIC-TREASURES-EXPLORING-COMPOSING/dp/9811411336)

Also, ‘unaware of the lexicon meaning of the Tamil word ‘cAthi’ (சாதி) and the import of the word ‘caste’ into Tamil, replacing the original meaning of  cAthi’, a semantic mischief.(However, it was the Portuguese who employed casta in the primary modern sense when they applied it to the thousands of in-marrying hereditary Indian social groups they encountered upon their arrival in India in 1498;  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caste);

American scholar George Hart had observed; “it is clear that caste is indigenous to South India and did not depend for its development on the varna system which was later superimposed on it”. Also, he had identified ‘paRaiyan’ and ‘pANan’, referred in cankam texts as ‘the lowest castes’ (‘Ancient Tamil Literature: Its Scholarly Past and Future’). But cankam text puRanhAnURu (335:  7 - 8) referred to them as the ‘citizens of the society’ (“துடியன், பாணன், பறையன், கடம்பன், என்று இந்நான்கு அல்லது குடியும் இல்லை”). I doubt if any Tamil scholar in Tamil university, International Institute of Tamil Studies, the Tamil departments in the universities in Tamilnadu, had refuted the above wrong observations with the proper evidences.’

‘DECODING ANCIENT TAMIL TEXTS – THE PITFALLS IN THE STUDY & TRANSLATION’ (https://www.amazon.com/DECODING-ANCIENT-TAMIL-TEXTS-TRANSLATION/dp/9811419264)

If T.M Krishna had discussed the above details in his book, most of the anti-RSS speakers & the audience might not have attended his book release.

I have been speaking and publishing the above truth with respect to ‘paRai, paRaiyar, untouchability’ for more than 5 years. How could T.M Krishna like authors ignore them? Is it because that my research findings could not serve the agenda of dividing Indians, serving anti-India interests?

In spite of BJP ruling at the center for two consecutive terms, the so called ‘secular’ writers continue to dominate in the public space, sidelining inconvenient research findings with the media support, exploiting the weakness in the soft power of the govt. (‘The soft power is a double-edged weapon w.r.t unifying, as well as, disintegrating a country like India.’; http://tamilsdirection.blogspot.com/2018/04/normal-0-false-false-false-en-us-x-none_17.html)

The following development had suggested that all the functional checks of the Indian govt had weakened to stop the abusing role of the soft power of the ‘secular'(?) forces, during the previous Congress rule.

Ilayaraja in his interview to “Ananda Vikatan’ (2005 June 1st week) had clarified that he did not render Thiruvasakam in symphony and he had employed the musical form Oratorio. Still many continue to believe that Thiruvasakam was rendered in symphony, because, including the then president Abdul Kalam, all VVIPs, had praised it, without consulting any experts in symphony.

Why no functional check to caution the President PM MPs other VIPs; becoming victims who had felicitated unethical music product in 2005?

I doubt if the PM Modi govt had learnt any lesson with respect to the above mentioned weakened functional checks, as even pro-RSS VVIPs , like Ilayaraja, were taken for a ride in the above unethical exercise by the producer Jegat Gaspar. (http://asiantribune.com/node/4959)

Otherwise, how did large crowd -the same crowd that hailed ‘Thiruvacakam in Symphony’(?)- turn up for TM Krishna book launch in Chennai’, after Kalakshetra cancelled it to discourage the agenda of dividing Indians, serving anti-India interests. Can we permit our prejudices to blind us to the unethical and the irrational efforts in music, catalyzing the hate politics?

Did any ‘secular’ writer, including TM Krishna condemn Irfan Habib, when Dr KK Muhammed, former Regional Director (North) of Archaeological Survey of India, exposed how the leftist historians led by Irfan Habib ‘connived with the extremist Muslim groups to derail all attempts to find an amicable solution to the Masjid issue.’ (https://www.firstpost.com/india/left-historians-connived-with-extremists-mislead-muslims-on-babri-issue-says-archaeologist-in-new-book-2592188.html)

‘Highly respected ancient percussion instruments grouped as ‘paRai’, & ‘citizen group’ called ‘paRiah’, had undergone ‘degradation as the untouchables’, during the colony rule. Worse, even after the Indian independence, and in spite of evidences of their 'respectable' status during the period of the ancient Tamil texts, the Western world not only continued to misuse the word ‘pariah’ in their writings, but also dared to ‘absorb’ the word into Mathematics.

‘In the area of modern algebra known as group theory, the term pariah was introduced by Griess (1982) to refer to the six sporadic simple groups that are not subquotients of the monster group.’- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pariah_group)

Did the ‘dalit groups’, in India, object to the above unpardonable misuse of the word ‘paRiah’ in the western world? If so, what social mechanism prevented the ‘due’ success of their efforts?’
(Dt. September 21, 2016; ‘Can the ancient Tamil word ‘pariah’ be rescued from the misuse in the western world?’; https://tamilsdirection.blogspot.com/2016/09/can-ancient-tamil-word-pariah-be.html)

Will T.M.Krishna, Raj Mohan Gandhi, Thol Thirumalavan & others who had participated in the book release,  admit their ignorance of the above findings, and initiate the efforts to rescue ‘paRiah’ from the misuse ?
